None. Academic and government on line sources will provide the
resources for students to complete the objectives of the course. Skills: Students should develop a knowledge set concerning the administration of justice in the United States. Students should develop deductive and inductive reasoning to find legal solutions to problems and issues. Students should develop a knowledge base of on line resources available to law enforcement professionals and citizens seeking to fully excewrcise their rights. Students will develop and carry out a research plan that meets the standards of the most advanced high school students, and will learn how to deal with a variety of methods of assessment. Objectives: Are at the beginning of the syllabus. |

Journals
Each student will keep a journal in a separate section of her notebook. Each Journal entry will be worth up to 25 points. The guidelines for writing Journal entries may be found at Journal Guidelines. |
