Here is the information you need to prepare yourselves for situations that arise at conferences. This set was first complied by the International Studies class, 3rd frame spring 2015. Additional sets are labelled.

DO NOT USE WIKIPEDIA AS A CITED SOURCE FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER! Use it as I have here as a resourece for finding acceptable sources!


1. Mod MB01 - "Bad Chair/ Good Chair": This module establishes standards for a chair. Delegates should be prepared for a chair who does not meet these standards.  Updated in class 4/22.
   
2. Mod MK01 - "When a Committee Chair is Inexperienced" . This module provides guidelines for delegates who find themselves in a situation where the chair is less experienced than the committee delegates.

3. Mod DJ01 - "Newbie Strategies" . This module suggests strategies so that new delegates can quickly engage in conference debate and negotiation.

4. Mod EO01 - Dealing with Other Delegates; The Basics . This module provides some ideas for dealing with other delegates in a constructive manner. This is intended to be useful if a delegate isn't sure where to go with other delegates in geeneral situations.

5. Mod MBA01 - "Opening Committee Strategies for the Chair" . This provides chairs with a basic set of guidelines, important especially at the beginning of sessions.


6. Mod   - Last Will and Testament:
Part One: List at least three people, conferences, activities, or MUN related objects you are leaving to delegates still here or underclasswomen
Part Two: Write a list of at least two activities or projects you would either change or add to this class. Also, describe the activity that worked the best: Practice chair and Moderated Caucus, Research into countries and committees, Simulations.

1. Mod SKE01 - "Appropriate and Innapropriate Note Passing" - This module describes note passing in several settings and indicates what is appropriate.

2. Mod WD01  "Overcoming Nervousness in Public Speaking" - This module provides steps to gain confidence in public speaking.

3. Mod SMcC 1  "Quickly Identifying a Bad Delegate" - This gives the delegate several ways to spot a bad delegate.

4. Mod SMcC 2  "Brainstorm for BATMUNC Workshops". This is the beginning planning for 10/14/2017

5. Moc SMcC 3 "Topics to Use to Introduce Model UN". This is a long term project. This topic is under development.
